The Gleen Collection grew from years of quiet learning, unexpected paths and a simple desire to create something genuinely useful—writing that might help another person see their life, and its possibilities, a little differently.
The person behind the pages
Life rarely follows
the first map.
I trained as a nurse in the Philippines, believing that qualification had drawn a clear line towards the future. Life led me elsewhere.
Working abroad and spending more than a decade outside nursing practice changed the shape of the journey, but not everything nursing had taught me. Listening carefully, remaining calm when another person is afraid and finding practical ways to help—those values travelled with me.
Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to books, writing and the quiet work of making sense of experience. The Gleen Collection began there: not with every answer, but with questions worth exploring and lessons worth passing on.

Why writing matters
